Forearm Phantoms
For QA and research in CT, pQCT and DXA
| Each phantom simulates an average female's right arm from wrist to elbow in the palm down position most commonly used in peripheral bone mineral examinations. Other positions and mineral densities are available upon request. |
The CIRS Forearm phantoms are available in three standard mineral densities of 400, 600 and 800
mg/cc calcium hydroxyapatite equivalence and are sold as a set. The simulated radius and ulna
are embedded in a muscle equivalent epoxy matrix.
